How do I know what team I should register my athlete for?
Lacrosse in Minnesota uses the grade your athlete is in currently to determine which team they should be playing on for this upcoming Summer season. So if your 8 yr old athlete is currently in 2-4 grade they would play on the 3/4 team. If your 11 year old athlete is in 4 grade they would play in the 3/4 team as well. If your 11 year old is currently in 5-6 grade they would play on that team this Summer.
What are the fees associated with playing lacrosse for the 2010 season?
The costs associated with playing lacrosse come into play in a few different ways, I will lay them out for you below.
Bloomington Fees for the 3-4 boys team $300
Bloomington Fees for the 5-6 boys team $375
Bloomington Fees for the 7-8 boys team (A or B) $375
Bloomington Fees for the girls 4-6 team $300
Bloomington Fees for the girls 7-8 team $300
These fees can be paid all at once or in installments over a couple of months if using a credit/debit card (visa, mc).
These Bloomington fees cover payments to the coaching staff, referees, EMT (emergency medical technicians are present at ALL home games and tournaments), uniforms, tournament fees, league fees, purchase and repair of equipment such as: goalie nets, balls, cones, goalie gear, long sticks (for LSM and defense players), time clocks, scorer's table, scoreboards, and first aid kits. As you can see from the list of expenditures above, the association does not pay a salary, bonus etc...to board members.
US Lacrosse fees
Each child playing lacrosse in the United States is required to pay a membership fee to US Lacrosse. Most of this fee goes to cover the Umbrella Insurance policy they place on all lacrosse programs in the United States. The rest of it goes for various other aspects of the US Lacrosse organization.
US Lacrosse fee $25 per player annually

We would be happy to assist you in finding the right equipment and answering further questions and providing suggestions. In some cases there may be used equipment available as well that could used.
When is does your season start/end?
Our season starts in Late April/May for practices (weather permitting) and the games start in June. The season ends at the end of July. We do not play games on weekends unless the team is involved in a tournament.
Who do our teams play their games against?
For the boys teams:
Each organization that chooses to play in the A level plays against other A level teams and the B level teams play other B level teams. Each of the levels have their own playoffs and tournament at the end of the season. Typical teams in the league that we play are Edina, Eden Prairie, Burnsville, Minnetonka, Lakeville, Chaska, Minneapolis. There are other teams that we may play as well outside of those areas.
For the girls teams:
There is not an A and B level currently. However we typically play teams from around the Twin Cities Metro area such as Eden Prairie, Burnsville, Lakeville, Eagan, Minnetonka, and others.
